I have never heard of this and do not think it is common with a pyo and most likely why you can't find much info on it. When my girl had a ruptured gallbladder I could find nothing in research...

Forti flora is a probiotic we've used as recommended by our vet. Sounds like she's on her way to full recovery. I'd not heard of it but you quick action probably drove the good prognosis and the spay...

Crap....that's scary! I've never heard of it; but I know pyometra is a serious infection, so I'm not surprised it led to something else. But it's not your fault; we can only make the best decisions...
