Finally had a couple of days to train.

So we FINALLY got some training in. And Rocket Dog is doing pretty darn well.

I never thought I'd complain about too much water out here in the desert... but we have somewhere over 200% of our normal rainfall and the rainy season is not over yet and the abundant (2-3 times normal) snow pack in the mountains has yet to melt. BUT we had a couple of days this week.

Attachment 6037 This is what we did yesterday in a new technical pond some friends built. Her lines were fabulous. We did the land double then the long water single.

Attachment 6038 We did this today. I gave her a poor line to the flier. (If I had it to do again, I would have picked up the go-bird, then the near-side walk up, then picked up the flier. But, she was charging past the flier, I stopped her, two quick precise handles and she had it. And her blinds were really good. AND (Ta DAH!!!) she was steady!!! Both days.

The land-water-land blinds were longer than anything she'll see in a Master Test. And we're fixing to run only our second Senior on April 8.

She really has come a long way!
