Dakota is panting a bit much...
The last 2 days its been warmer here about 80 and so in the afternoons i took her and China for a short walk in the park. Dakota leads the way as usual and we went to the stream to cool off. Back home and it seemed to take her longer to cool down than usual. I attributed that to the fact that she's 12 1/2 and we're slowly getting back in to the swing after winter. Simultaneously I bought new glucosamine & fish oil from Nusentia. She hesitated when I added it to her food so I stopped, put her back on her regular glucosamine.
Last night she panted most of the night although not heavy, enough to be awake. I took her out at 4:30 she pooped & peed, no problems. Ate breakfast normally (without that added new stuff) She also hesitated to take a carrot which she usually never hesitates. She slowly took her other treats. Slowly. She never takes them slow. I just checked her on the camera and she was panting. What now?? I hate this worry....doesn't panting mean pain??
