Doggy Carrot Cake with Banana Cream Cheese Frosting
It was Maverick's birthday recently and I decided to make him a cake!
Doggy Carrot Cake
1 cup white or whole wheat flour (I used AP flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter (I used JIF Creamy with the red lid)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots (I used pre-shredded carrots)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350
Cook for 25-30 minutes
Mix flour and baking soda. Combine and stir in the rest of the ingredients to desired consistency. Spread in greased pan for baking. I used a 9x5 bread pan.
Once toothpick is comes out clear, remove pan from oven and let cool about 15 minutes. Remove cake from pan and let cool on wire cooling rack. Once cake is cool, frost and decorate it to your liking.
Banana Cream Cheese Frosting
8 oz cream cheese (I used Philadelphia Cream Cheese at room temp)
4 oz baby food bananas
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Combine all frosting ingredients and mix to desired consistency.
