Asher is 7 Months Old

My little boy is growing up on me. He's sweet, happy, and so attentive. He and Samson drive me crazy most days but I love them to pieces. I just hope as Asher gets older Samson will relax and stop with the non-stop playing. Anyways...here's my baby (He's 66 lbs now)... (that's my lil guy Griffi in the background).

Ack, the tail blur! Love it!

I love how straight he's sitting, with his tail wagging a mike a minute!

Thanks everyone. He is a true sweetheart. 100% puppy no doubt. He does try very hard to please. it is so cute how he just wags that tail when he knows he is doing something right. It's like he is trying so hard to contain himself but can't control that tail. We have our 2nd obedience class tomorrow.

He's growing into a very handsome young man! As to the non-stop play, Brooks is almost 14 months old and he still tortures Sophie every chance he gets! Of course she is a very willing participant most of the time!

Samson will still not allow Asher to lay near him. All he will allow is play. All play all the time. I think I'm going to purchase some in home training sessions. I need to figure out how to nip this constant play. :-)

I tell them to "leave it" which will normally stop the action. If they go back at it I put a leash and collar on Brooks, and that will normally restore peace. I don't hold the leash, just having it on does the trick.

I should give that a try!

We used settle. We started it when we got Bear. The house is a no rough play zone. Sometimes they forget, but for the most part it's lazy bitey face and bone chewing in the house.

He gets all kinds of mental activity. I found these all natural cheese puffs for pups (2 calories per treat) that he loves. Does the trick when trying to expend his energy on commands. Samson takes care of the physical play for me! :-) These guys play bitey face non-stop. Drives me nuts but they love it. :-)
