Police asked me a strange question.
Called 911 because of debris on a 50 mph road and it was rush hour. Drivers were swerving into oncoming traffic instead of going to the shoulder. Very dangerous. Explained the situation and there was a pause. Since the situation was near a very popular set of town attractions, I gave my address so that he knew I was local and knew what I was talking about in terms of location. He asked me for my name. Then he asked me for my phone number. Gave both. Then he stated my birthday and asked me if that was it. I laughed.
Why is he asking me this? Frankly, it's not even relevant who I am. There's a bunch of stuff in the middle of the road. Why is it so important who called it in?
