Of husbands and refrigerators...
Brought the husband home from the hospital from having his second knee surgery. He almost died of sepsis the last time (not exaggerating... white count over 20,000, fever, atrial fibrillation, lungs not perfusing, hemoglobin dropping, electrolytes deranged, not making a lot of urine) so it's been stressful.
He's doing beautifully this time (better nursing care can do wonders) and we came home from the hospital last night. And the refrigerator died this morning.
"Maybe I can help you move it and you can see if it came unplugged"
NO!!! Come on, honey. Geese-a-wee! Are you nuts!
Oh well, you can trade the fridge in on a new model easier than the husband. So there is that.
