I recently met a guy who decided on his 40th birthday to come up with a 45 item bucket list, with the goal of completing all of them by his 45th birthday. He's cruising right along, doing things like jumping out of planes and holding a baby panda.
I have a similar birthday milestone coming up and I love the idea of a bucket list with a deadline. If you don't know: a bucket list is things you want to accomplish before you die (aka 'kick the bucket.') It should be concrete, realistic items, like "enter a cooking contest" rather than more squishy sentiments like "keep in touch with friends." They should also be framed positively, so no "lose weight" or "drink less." (I'm thinking about 'eat vegetarian for a month' though!)
So I now have to come up with a whole bunch of bucket list items! So far I have: See HAMILTON in New York. Visit all 48 contiguous states. Successfully do a certain yoga move.
Help me brainstorm by sharing what would put on your list!
