How things have changed over my lifetime!

I was going through a box of my memorabilia today and found an old birthday card someone gave my in 1987. It listed how things were the year I was born. The best movie was "From Here To Eternity" with William Holden and Audrey Hepburn (I love her movies). The New York Yankees beat the Brooklyn Dodgers in the World Series. The top song was "Doggie In The Window" (that figures!). A 3 bedroom home cost $9,000.00! The average income was $4,233.00. Gas was $.29 a gallon and a loaf of bread was $.16. It was fun looking through that. I'll bet there's a website that has that information for every year. Mine was done by Hallmark.

Kinda shakes you up seeing those prices.
