Apparently, if the lining cracks, the insulation liquifies and leaks out. It wouldn't have failed but my electric bill would have been atrocious. When I went to move it, it was stuck to the floor. The insulation is really gluey.
Loving the new one. We picked up a larger one and left out the ice maker so I can store a lot more.
