Literally. We were getting ready to go out, Oban had his collar and leash on and he was gagging, with the leash in his mouth. What the heck? He likes to carry his leash in his mouth when we go out and he's never chewed on it. He never even chewed on the leash when he was a puppy just learning to walk on the leash. Why now, all of a sudden? I hauled the leash out of his mouth, we went to the car, got going. And he's gagging again. What the heck is this dog doing? He looked like he'd swallowed too much leash and couldn't get it up and out again.
OH has been walking him for a month and a half and OH put a knot in the leather leash to act as a grip stop. Oban must have gotten a tooth in the knot and been unable to get it out. He was darn near vomitting in the car. Weird the knot would be there for a month and a half and this doesn't happen till now, and it happens twice in a row. What a weird, freaky thing.
