I have a friend who believes this way. She has good intentions and doesn't shame anyone that I know of, at least not those of use who get our dogs from reputable breeders. The good news is that she practices what she preaches and adopts the most awful dogs of any breed and takes great care of them until the end. Her last dog had no eyes, she has taken dogs with heartworm, broken down dogs, etc. They are all heavily used and abused in puppy mills. She has also co-founded and run dog rescues and has been fostering for decades.
I can only hope that all those extremist PETA folks are practicing what they preach!
