Some pics from my UK trip
I had a great visit with my friends. When I visit the UK I always feel as though I'm going home as I lived there for 4 1/2 years, from 1984 to 1989.
Taken in/near the village of Fairford, near the base where I was stationed.
The Fairford Obelisk. Built in 1763 at Fairford Park.

Looking across the Coln River toward St. Mary's church in Fairford. Portions of this church were built in the 1300's, and it was finished and dedicated in its final form in 1490. Yes, that's 2 years before Columbus "discovered" America. It is the only church in the UK with the original stained glass window set back in the 1500's.
