Lark has lost her dang mind!
We have had Lark since she was 12 weeks old during which time she has never been a counter surfer, hasn't been a stuffie destroyer, and has been generally well-mannered once she got past the puppy stage. She is gentle with the grandbabies, just a sweet girl. Since Henry has arrived she has become increasingly naughty. She ripped the face off the Lamb Chop stuffie they got for Christmas, has been jumping up to get toys off the tops of the crates that I put up there to keep them out of reach (Ha! she says), and today she got up on my husband's desk and got an unopened bag of sunflower seeds, tore open the bag (and ate about half of that) and snarfed down all but 3 kernels of the 7 ounces of unshelled salted, roasted sunflower kernels. Calorie content about 1200 calories with 80% of the calories from fat. And salted. Sigh... So far she hasn't thrown up, hasn't been guzzling water, and I'm half afraid to go check the backyard for other output.
Henry doesn't really tear up stuffies and hasn't done any counter surfing. Larky must be trying to get him into trouble because we know she wouldn't do anything bad! She just doesn't realize that if Henry is in his crate and she isn't, that makes it a little easier to identify the culprit! Oh, Lark, where'd our sweet, obedient girl go?
