Don't know about any nonsurgical meds for cataracts. We home seniors and several had small cataracts which did not enlarge and did not cause problems with day to day vision requirements. My vet kept an watch on them to be sure they were not causing blindness.
my lab has a cloudy eye and has trouble going to places... and I am trying to find some other treatment and stumble on to these drops Ethos Bright Eyes
they are expensive..., any one knows something on these drops
Sorry - I've not heard of the drops you mentioned. I did look them up and am intrigued...very curious if anyone has had experience with them as well.
Please do not use anything in your dog's eyes unless directed by a vet. I had a dog with juvenile cataracts and we had the surgery done to remove them. But he was young, only 4 years old. Cataracts can cause inflammation in the eye, which is painful, and eye drops will help with that. But there is no eye drop that will get rid of the cataracts, if that's what you're asking. In order to know if your dog has inflammation in his eye, you need to go see a veterinary opthamologist and have them test your dog's eye pressure. Many general practice vets don't have the equipment to be able to do this, so don't waste your time there.
