She didn't qualify either day, but I definitely saw some things to be proud of and some things that needed work, some on my part and some on hers, LOL. The first day she picked up on my nervousness and was very stressed in the ring, but the second day, we were both much calmer and happier, so that was good. We didn't train much all through December, which I think contributed to the NQ's, but this at least gave me a good idea what things we need to work on with her.
Awesome! Can't wait to hear about her progress, I'm sure she'll get it all together soon. Any video or pictures from the trial?
No pics or video - that I know of, anway ;). She's to the point where she understands the exercises, but little things can cause her to make a mistake due to lack of confidence (for example, I was nervous and gave a weak "take it" on gloves the first day - she flinched but didn't go out after it - the next day I gave a stronger command and she went right out to get it because that time she was sure what she was supposed to be doing). I think once she gets used to the show environment she will be much better.Quote:
