Attachment 2160 headless after a 12 gauge
Wow. Do you live in Rattler central? I would have to move!!! We have the occasional black snake/rat snake show up around the barn and after I calm down I let them be. They take care of rats and mice.
I was gone after the first one. Those are huge snakes.
Hey Sparky, we get our share of non-venomous snakes too. The CA Rosy Boas, King Snakes and Gopher snakes. The Gophers are the scariest as they resemble the Rattler, will coil and strike too. They've also adapted defensively and will shake their tails in the dried leaves to simulate the sound of the rattler. All are very good to have around as like you said, they'll help with the rodent population. The Rattlers though are not a good thing to have around the house for obvious reasons.
