RIP Oscar 2002-2015
Not sure any of you remember me/us. Its been a while since i posted; work is so busy. But on the odd chance anyone does, wanted to share that today we sent our best boy Oscar on his way. It was his time. He was unable to get up, stand, and was frequently confused. He no longer wagged his tail or looked into our eyes. Our vet came to the house and we sat with him until he was gone. It hurts so much. This board was there for me in the past when i needed advise and an ear, so thank you all. Now how do I make the pain go away?

Of course we remember you! I'm so sorry to hear that Oscar has left us. You gave him the ultimate gift. There is no quick way to make the pain go away but hopefully soon memories of your happier times with Oscar will replace some of the pain you're feeling now. Rest easy now, Oscar.

So very, very sorry. It's so hard when age robs them of the love of life. I know it was very hard but you released Oscar from illness and discomfort. It takes a very deep love and devotion to be able to let go.
The pain you're experiencing, all I can say is time and sweet memories help some. Don't worry, Oscar is with you, always in your heart.
Rest In Peace Sweet Oscar

I'm so sorry.
you need time to mourn. i still can well up when we talk about alan, and i hate to tell you, but it's more than 14 years. i cant open the box his urn is in, and it sits, with rex's on top of it. neither one is unwrapped.
I'm a woosie, but it's just the way it is.
time. you need time.
and again, i am so sorry for your loss.
