Case of the pukes - help!
Time to worry.
This morning around 10 (about 4hrs after his breakfast), Murphy threw up in the living room. He got a piece of a scrambled egg a few minutes prior to throwing up, so we figured it didn't agree with him and up it came. There wasn't an entire meal in the puke, just a small pile (kind of like creamy peanut butter - TMI, sorry). He ate his lunch no problem, drank his water, took a nap, and was fine. He was even begging for my snack a couple of hours ago (as normal). Just about a half hour ago, he ate his dinner, walked into the kitchen, and puked up his entire dinner. Then he decided to take his pukes to the carpet and finish (2 small piles of the creamy peanut butter looking stuff again, but it wasn't liquidy. I was able to get a bag and clean it up no problem and run the carpet cleaner). I cleaned it up while he stood by the stove waiting for a hand out from my dad who was cooking dinner. During dinner, he did his regular begging and drooling as we ate. Right now, he's running around and acting normal.
I'm obviously worried that he has some sort of obstruction. I'm positive he didn't get into any socks, trash cans, etc., but rocks are a different story. He hasn't "gone" since his breakfast at 6:15ish this morning, but he hasn't even tried to go. I'd be more worried if he was trying and wasn't getting anywhere. He's bugging me right now and I think he has to go out, so I'm hoping he's productive when we go. He's drinking and peeing though, so he isn't dehydrated (as far as I know). His nose is cold/wet, his ears are cool, no signs of him being in pain either. He's acting all lovey dovey around me, but I think that's because he needs to go out (he jumped on me just now and started bugging me).
Any ideas of what this could be? A coincidence that he puked twice in one day? There wasn't anything in his puke either as far as I know (both times - I dug through it and only found the occasional leaf or two, but they were small enough to pass. Those are a regular for him). We're going to keep an eye on him tonight and make sure nothing changes.
I should add also - it snowed last night and he can't help but eat it when he's out there. Any way that may be connected to throwing up? I know Katie used to throw up when she ate a good amount of snow.
If you can, please send some mojo Murph's way. I'm worried about my boy!
