Mutts and me
Since it's been so long thought I'd just update on me and the yellow butts. I still have my rescue Marla and my son's dog Cody. Both are doing pretty good for being 8. Just had a scare with Marla after she trash can dove and ate a bunch of junk in the outside can.:ambivalence: Took her into the vet on Monday for x-rays to make sure she had thrown everything up since it consisted of beer bottle caps, sandwich bags, diapers parts and an assortment of other stuff. Thank goodness she didn't have anything left in her.
It's too hot here to do anything outside with the dogs so we just do a lot of indoor lounging and some yard play.
My son sold his house recently and is now unable to find a house as the market is just insane here. So, he's in the house with us along with his German Sheperd, Shadow. She's a little bit on the dominant, jealous side so we have to be super careful about fights with her and Cody.:apologetic:
Other than the above, I'm just working and having to act like an adult. LOL

A good idea to have her checked out. These guys will eat anything! Glad she's ok.

So good to hear from you. Marla is such a stinker; glad she is fine now.

So good to hear from you. Glad Marla is OK. It's hot everywhere and in St. Louis we have the humidity to contend with.

So glad to see an update from you. Glad Marla is ok.

Hi Ann, good to hear from you!

Yikes....the kid brought you a second dog of "his" to contend with??? I can't remember why he didn't have Cody.
Anyway, it's nice to have you resurface from time to time (even when your reason for coming isn't good news). I still think of you with your original three....the good old days. I think we lost a lot of folks to Facebook even before the crash.
Good luck with the new pooch arrangement. Be well.

Good to hear from you again! Sounds like you have your hands full- still! I hope you find more time for us now and then.
