Memorial for Brooke
This picture was taken last fall when Brooke and I had our last hunt together. We didn't get any pheasant but it was mostly about spending a little time together out in the fall grass, Brooke's favorite place to be. The following March (this past March) we lost Brooke to cancer. She was the sweetest dog I'd ever had the chance to live with. Always smiling and ready to greet the next person for another petting session. She will always be in our hearts forever. The only flaw dogs have is they don't live long enough.Attachment 5223

So sorry for your loss such a sweat looking gal too.
Run free Brooke

You are so right about them not being with us long enough. Thanks for sharing the photo of your sweet girl. No one really understands the pain of losing a loved friend like another pet lover does. My condolences.

Brooke looks ready to jump out and hunt. :) So sorry for your loss, remember her lots, even if it brings a few tears.

I've raised a lot of labs, and have lost a lot of labs unfortunately, some at their time, a couple before their time... those hurt the most for sure.
I am so happy to have an arsenal of photos on hand to go w/ all the memories. Glad you do too and hope you have plans for many more pups in your lifetime. Anne

I feel your pain, and have to smile at the pic of your lovely girl. I've lost 5 to cancer over the years, never easy, always hard.

A beautiful picture and memory to cherish, Brooke looks like a sweatheart

Brooke looks like she was a wonderful hunting companion in addition to being a very sweet girl.
Run Free, sweetheart.
