This is a fairly recent pic of Maverick. He’s the grunted hat sounds like a piggy. You can see how big his face is here.

He's adorable...not at all what I was trying unsuccessfully to imagine.

Sounds like a lot of Labs are snorters and snorers....he's in good company.

Whoa, that picture of Maverick is awesome! I suspect our little "Moosey" will look like that one day when he grows into his name MOOSE He has a much more serious expression than our yellow lab (4 years old) who always seems to be smiling, but he also has a very sweet disposition and is somewhat of a snuggler. Their personalities are very different, but they both love to play and are already the best of friends! Now that I know it's normal, I think his little snorting really fits him

I would just keep an eye on it, to make sure it doesn't progress further if it is a slight respiratory illness. Sometimes puppies also just get excited and the snorting may be due to heightened excitement. It's hard to tell without actually seeing/hearing what you are describing.

Although no one has mentioned it, it could be a fox tail up his nose, so stay aware of his symptoms if they get worse, or he has any discharge
