I'd bought a stroller when Sunnie proved to be pregnant. Invaluable.
Any breeders out there who have come up with a clever way to move a litter of Labrador puppies to the vet's office for check ups easily? A few days old is easy enough, but at 7 weeks can be a feat! Kennels are difficult to carry with more than one or two in. Ideas anyone?

First time, I left them in the car, and the vet tech's brought them into the office 2 at a time in their arms. I had 2 crates in the car, one for the taking the pups out and one for returning the pups to when done. Second time, vet did the exam in the parking lot by my car. He did the exam on the hatch bottom.

I have grates in the bottom of my crates with pee pads underneath so if they don't make it there and back with peeing, they aren't sitting in it.
I brought my vet an exercise pen for the repro room where she does breedings and sees healthy dogs only. The floors are mopped, and the ex pen set up before we go with litters, so they go straight into the ex pen. My favorite vet techs are happy to help carry a puppy or two in/out, although they are 16-20 lbs by then. We do exams in order by microchip number and collar colors, and the same with litter eye exams at 7-8 weeks. My puppies usually love music, because they have music on during the day in the puppy room, so I play their favorite genre for them to 'sing' along to, although by then they have had quite a few car rides so they don't always 'sing' lol.
Good luck, it takes a sense of humor and patience to take a litter for exams :-)
I have crates that I stack on a crate dolly, and just roll them in... Mine never touch the ground due to parvo being so bad at both the eye clinic/ emergency vet location and locally.
