    Shedding!

Whoooo boy. I forgot how much a lab sheds. Diggity is 6 months old now and there is fur EVERYWHERE these past few days. It is getting cold up here in Boston, but this is the first time I’ve noticed it so maybe it’s also his age. Thankfully he likes being brushed, but there is still a ton of fur all over.

Oh man I remember thinking with Bubba as a puppy "Aw he must just not shed that much". NOPE it's an age thing and hits you like a fur-ricane all at once. I asked for a roomba for christmas haha.

I was thinking the same thing, that I got the low-shed model. Guess there is no such thing!

That's been my experience, too. Even Sunnie's diluted Lab content is an obvious hair-loss-trigger (much worse than her son).

Lido sheds like crazy, too. I knew that going in, since he's our third lab, but jeez... I vacuum just about every day. Thankfully, I don't have any carpet, save a few small area rugs. I recently bought a Shark Ion cordless (Dyson cordless knockoff), that has two rechargeable batteries - life saver!
