Runny poo due to peanut Butter?

Stormy woke me up at 2 am and 3 am to poop. The first one was solid, the second was more liquid/spray. DH reports her poops today were splatteriffic. They weren’t higher in number, just very liquid-y. Luckily, no accidents in the crate or house.

Yesterday evening I gave her a small Kong with a little peanut butter. The PB was the only out of the norm thing I gave her. But she’s a puppy and it’s possible she ate something outside that is giving her the runs.

So my question to y’all: have you heard of peanut butter having this effect?

Peanut butter is high in fat...diarrhea is a definite possibility. Neither of mine can eat it unless it's baked in a biscuit.

What a shame! It’s the perfect Kong cement.

Did you fill the kong with it or just use it to plug the hole?

Wow that hardly seems like enough to cause issues. Is this the first time she’s had peanut butter like that?

It's the only thing that's ever given Presto abnormal poo. To block Kong holes you can also use the wet version of their dry food.

She hasn't had peanut butter since Monday, but her poo is runny again. She's teething; could that be contributing?

A tiny bit shouldn't hurt, has the pup had peanut butter before? Sometimes new things can do that. My guess its something else.

She had peanut butter as a young pup with no ill effect. We just got away from it because I use it exclusively in kongs, and she was too young to be interested in working for her food. Times have changed.

Wednesday I kept her strictly on kibble and rice (didn't have chicken on hand); things firmed up a bit, so when we ran out of rice, we went back to kibble. She did get some random treats at puppy k Wed evening, but less than 5 total. I'd be surprised if she was still being affected last night? She seemed fine until Th evening, when things got squirty again. Yesterday, she did get some Buddy Biscuits (grain free.)
