Fast for 24 hours, then introduce bland food, slowly add back in the dog food. Our rule is more than 1 vomit in the span of a couple days warrants at least a call to the vet.
Oakley threw up all her food this morning and again a few hours later. She seemed fine before and after throwing up but I did put her down for a nap. She hasn't gotten into anything that I know of. She is taken outside on a leash and is supervised indoors. I think I have read the remedy is to give her no food or chicken and rice. No food for how long? Chicken and rice later today or wait till tomorrow? Any advice would be appreciated.

How old is your puppy? You should not fast a young pup
If she only puked the 2 times and there is no diarrhea, I wouldnt do anything. If she pukes again or has diarrhea, try some chicken and rice for the next meal, if she doesnt improve, go to the vet. Puppies can go downhill very quickly
I have never fasted a young puppy either but I have never had one throw up 2 meals in a row. I would not wait 24 hours in this heat with a puppy that could not keep anything down. I would be at the vet but this kind of thing would panic me.

Oakley is 4 months old. She has puked up yellow bile stuff a few times today. I'm going to try to feed her some chicken and rice now. Hopefully she will keep it down. I'll call the vet tomorrow morning. She has me concerned also that she's not drinking much water. She has been crunching on a few ice cubes though. Thanks for the advice everyone.
Fingers crossed. Got to watch out for dehydration. Hoping the Vet will give you some insight.
I know from the Rabbit world that young kits have a problem heat and humidity, as they do with severe cold. Maybe the pups are having a bit of a time adjusting to the heat and humidity. And it's not the food.

Oakley is back to normal!! Took her to the vet yesterday morning and she did some blood work (normal), gave her a Cerenia injection for nausea, and sent us home with 2 cans of special gastro dog food and quite a nice bill!! Oakley was starving yesterday but we took it slow with her eating. This morning was a small breakfast and then a little more. She's back to her ornery self! I hope we can stay out of the vet's office for awhile! Thanks everyone.
