    Dremel recomendations

Anyone have a product they really like. I am getting ready to buy one not sure what to get. Everything seems to have an even amount of positive and neg reviews.

At first we got the pet Dremel. One day the battery on it needed recharging so I grabbed DH's regular Dremel. Really worked better on Mardi's nails which are extremely hard. Which ever one you use, got about introduction slowly. I find it a lot more efficient than clipping.

i own the 3000 model/kit. i used it for a cutting wheel on screws/nails that went too far through wooden cabinets. I think it was their lowest model kit, but it works great for about $60. I guess its all about right tool for job, as I couldnt find a cheaper cutting wheel that would fit in the space I needed it for.

I use the Sears Craftsman portable rotary tool. It is rechargable. It has lasted for years. I like being free of the cord, and I don't have many dogs, so it works well for me with a sanding drum. Occasionally, it has been used for home, school and Scout projects. If I had tons of big dogs with hard nails, I might need the corded power. I also like my friend's Dremel version. Just make sure it fits your hand comfortably.
