Zoey had giardia as a pup too, its VERY common. They can get it anywhere. Make sure you finish the meds. She will be fine

We started to use medicine yesterday and she is quite fine already. We are going to keep using the meds for 7 days more.

    Hmmm. Antibiotics for giardia?

I've never dealt with it (knock on wood), but there are better treatments for giardia. Perhaps someone will chime in that's dealt with it, and can tell you what they've used. Also, sometimes it takes two rounds of treatment to get rid of it.

And also, antibiotics will cause diarrhea on their own, as it kills off the good bacteria in the gut also. Do you have access to a probiotic? You may want to consider giving it to her.

In the meantime, I'll send good poop thoughts also.

Well I did what the vet told me to do. :/ What can I use for giardia? Probiotic yoghurts?
