    probably been covered before;
    Rocky is 7 months today, at what age would he be adult weight?
    trying to figure out when he would hit 80-90%.

    Mine have usually leveled out and stayed consistent between 12-18 months old.

    Every line is different. Some lines are very slow to mature. I have one dog who hit his adult weight around two and has always been at that same weight +/- 3 pounds. I have another dog who didn't start to look mature until three years of age.

    You should talk to your breeder about the lines from which your dog originated. They can give you a good idea of what happens in their lines.

    The person who could give you a definitive # should do some betting in Las Vegas!

    I'd say add 10-20# to what his weight is now at 7 months.

    Bruce has been at a constant 74 pounds from 10 - 14 months. His line is slow to mature, and I think he will be around 80 pounds at 2 years. He has filled in a lot, and become much more masculine looking over the past couple weeks. Sophie was 78 pounds at 10 months, then she started a gradual slim down to 65 pounds at 15 months. We had her spayed at about 22 months (after her second season). She is 3 1/2 now and weighs 61 pounds. I thinks she's a bit thin, but being fixed I'd rather have her on the thin side. She is well muscled, and you can clearly see the definition when she's running.

    My lines are ~75-80% of their adult weight at 7 mos. Doubling the 4mo weight usually brings me w/in 5# of the adult weight too.

    If you have the 16 week old weight doubling that is usually very accurate like Jen said .... I would agree adding 2-5 onto that as well is a little more accurate. Always worked for me. My very cute baby boy turns 16 weeks next week, so I cannot wait to see what the weight is. He will be small and light but how small and light is the question. 24.2lbs as of yesterday, so by Sunday I anticipate, 25.5-26lbs, and by next Sunday at least 28lbs. So he will end up being a 56lb-60lb dog. Bigger than my girls but still very little.

    Not sure what you mean. Birthdays are normally annually. But 4 mos does not normally equal 16 wks unless you have February repeat itself 4x (maybe w/ Ground Hog day it does... lol).
    Since pups gain 2-3 # per week, that "extra" week means something when doing the math here, right? There you have that extra 4-5# that some say always seems lacking.
