Ate a Small Piece of Glass

Bubba just ate a piece of glass. Probably the diameter of a penny in length and maybe a quarter of an inch in width.

He doesn't seem to be upset in any way. Not sure what to do...

The internet says to feed him soft foods like bread or mashed potatoes and to give him some Metamucil?

I'd first of all call your vet's office or the closest emergency vet to see what they would recommend. We have had some pups eat glass Christmas tree ornaments and they have been told to try soft white bread, like Wonder Bread. I would still call YOUR vet to see what they think needs to be done for YOUR puppy as a first measure.

Just seeing this...I would be very worried!

I hope you took your puppy to your Vet!

Please come back and give us an update. I hope your puppy is okay.

All is well! We gave him some white bread, Vaseline, and Metamucil per our vets instructions. Also decided it was worth it to purchase pet insurance for the future immediately afterwards

Lol, the insurance is a great idea! I am glad all is well with Bubba and there were no further issues.
