Awwww, I have to admit I used to laugh at Maxx racing through the house trailing toilet paper! It would blow my mind how fast he would know I had put it back on the holders. I think he did it as long as he did because I did laugh, he is truly a clown and loves when he makes someone laugh. It sounds like Miss Sassy was named very appropriately!

I use primo pads in my crates because my dogs like to dig into their bedding, and these crate pads hold up to that. I've had mine for years and they look new. They are easy to sanitize, and stay cool and comfortable for the dogs. Plus, I like the cushioning they provide, which helps to lessen elbow calluses.

Heh, well, his new bed lasted for a whopping 48hrs!

We just came back from the store to find a chewed hole in his bed. I'm looking into primo pads now. I know he's a puppy and he's teething, but why doesn't he chew his toys when he's in his bed?

If it is in his world, it is his toy. If it is not chewable or chewproof, do not leave it with him without supervision. It gets boring all day, so he explores with his mouth like any baby or puppy or young, oral dog. You can always patch the bed and save it for when he is old enough or under direct supervision, maybe in your family room. Can he even look out the window in the (laundry?) room where you crate him?

Yep, everything is a toy to a puppy! (Aren't you one of his favorite chew toys?!)

Nope. The window is up high (almost too high for me to see out of!). He can see out of his crate though and down the hallway to the family room and to the formal living room. We threw the bed away - it was too big of a hole to patch up and when he's older, we'll get him a big, comfy bed for the family room. He likes to sleep on the vent though.
