      Labrador Mix Puppy?

So, someone abandoned a dog at my work that was estimated by the vet to be 5-6 weeks. Dropped her over a fence in a bag, specifically. She weighed 2.2lbs at the time, was absolutely emaciated, and my hand covered her entire body. Hair was falling out, severe dermatitis and worms. First day we had her she was pooping and puking grass. Took her to the vet after work (and am keeping her, she is a doll!) where she stayed for a few days.

She is now 11-12 weeks and weighs 10.5 lbs. She has eaten 15lbs of dry food and two flats of wet food. Still thin, but not a bag of bones anymore. Currently eats 1.5c of food a day because she was becoming bony at 1c when we started controlling her food. My fully grown 18lb Boston Terrier/Dachshund mix only eats 1c of food a day, and even then she never finishes her meals... So to me, this says that she will be bigger?

Anyhow. Everyone says she looks like a lab, and she does. But based off of her ears, she looks to be mixed with terrier.

She looks exactly like a lab/pit mix that lives at the kennel, from colors to structure, so we think she may be a lab/pit mix. Will get a wisdom panel done in the near future to see what can be identified

She has small feet, but her feet and joints will suddenly get big. Then she gets taller by a little bit. Then she fills out a bit, then the cycle repeats.

Anyhow, based off that info, do you think she will be large? Am I feeding her enough? Do you have any advice?

I've already started training her. She is very smart and easy to train, very obedient as well. She is awesome and wonderful and in love with the world

I'm wondering if she may have been stunted. She might always be on the smaller side because of her start....but maybe not. The ears especially look terrier-y. She seems small, but she's still young. As far as food goes, if she looks thin give her a little more. If she starts looking chubby she'll probably hit a growth spurt. If she gets diarrhea cut her food back a little. Thank you for rescuing her!

      Thank you for rescuing her.

But..you are not feeding her enough! She should be eating closer to 3 cups per day. Remember, she is a growing puppy and needs the proper nutrition for healthy growth and development.

Are you feeding a puppy formula?
