Know of what you are speaking. With Mardi and Archie, my Dyson moans when I open the closet door.
Keep up the brushing. I do it almost daily. Archie's the worse right now.

Can you recommend a good brush? The one I have does not seem to capture the lose hair.. Sophie's mom
Our two seem to be ALWAYS shedding. Luckily it's a little at a time, not the huge blow out that most experience. Still, it's something we live with.
Hope all is well and have a great day

Hannah looks like a homeless coyote right now. This is the girl that hates to be brushed and avoids me at all costs. I use the furminator on the dogs for extreme shedding (blowing) and then for just every now and again brushing I use the zoom groom. Love them both!
The shedding never stops, brushing helps. We use the furminator too
I hear ya! Cookie is still shedding like crazy. All you can do is brush, brush, brush and vacuum, vacuum, vacuum

furminators are not really for labs. removes the undercoat. try a zoom groom and if the dog is wet, it's even better.
Ah, 'tis the time of year for shedding! To keep on top off what ends up all over the floors, you have to keep on top of brushing the dog. What you get in the brush doesn't end up on the floors. I use a Mars Coat King to remove dead undercoat. I'll run it through the dog for a few minutes a couple of times of week. Works great for removing the dead undercoat and the dog doesn't mind it in the least. I've tried all kinds of gadgets but find this tool works the best for us.
