Update on Lily: Her health is improving a lot!

When I got Lily on September 15th, she was 15 weeks old and only 6.4 lbs. Today (October 4th) she weighed in at 11.2 lbs! She's gaining about 1.75 lbs per week. Her coat is also looking so much better! It's a little hard to tell from the pics below, but Lily has definitely gotten taller and wider. It took a few trips to the vet and some good medications, but she's doing great now! I'm so relieved.

Good news! In addition to the trips to the vet and medication, I'd add lots of love and attention to the list of things that have brought on her thriving.

She gets tons of love and attention. She's very spoiled.

Here's a photo from today where you can definitely tell she's more stocky and not as scrawny as when I first got her.

It's hard to tell from the photo, is her belly still rather round?

Such good news. You deserve much of the credit for her increased health-keep it going.

And sending more good health MOJO to sweet little Lilly.

Yes her belly is still a little too round. She had intestinal parasites and was given antibiotics but I have to wait 2 more weeks to give the vet a stool sample and see if she needs another round of meds. Except for the bloated belly, her symptoms went away completley and she was at the vet yesterday.

Kind of hard to tell but looks like from the photo a big growth spurt. Her butt is higher than her shoulders. Could just be weird camera angle but when the butt gets high like that the front will soon catch up. I notice a lot of them grow butt first.
