The real problem is not the subject matter of any post, it’s who the poster is!
I’ve watched it many times with different posters, the assumption is you’re an idiot, have no dog experience or knowledge, and certainly no common sense unless you’re "one of us".
I’ve even been told I was wrong when I was staring right at the subject, could touch and feel it.
But, I’ll continue to work on my mistakes if that helps.
LOL, I had to laugh at the wasted food comment. I have 6, there is no wasted food. I have problems with Grace, she's nearing 12, sometimes breakfast doesn't seem appealing to her. I may make her whole meal (kibble, count to 3 while adding hot water, stirring in some canned, she gets FreshPet log too) and then she snubs it. Dump it? I put it in the fridge, and at dinner, it gets a bit more kibble, and gets reassigned to one of the boys who'll eat anything put in front of them. HA HA

When we had 1 lab, Hudler, he really wasn't interested in food. We had to play games with him to get him to eat. He was free fed just so that we could get food in him.

Just wanted to give an update --- I am very happy to report that little guy is eating his kibble without any wet!! I am a very happy mom. I tried the bean grinder to grind his food up and mixed up a tablespoon of wet, that worked. Then, I decided to give the microwave a try. I put the kibble in the dish and heated for 15 seconds. Let the food begin to break down, then mashed it up. He gobbles it down. Zero wet (canned) food mixed in. Such a relief. Now I can focus on the normal puppy stuff....biting (he loves my neck and hair), potty training, and trying to get Samson to relax. :-) Thank you very much for all the tips and advice.
Yeah, this thread kind of took a left turn away from the original query, didn't it? I'm glad he has come around to your team on the food front! Great work! Onward to the biting!
