Never heard of it and can't do much research on it since the website at Fleet Farm doesn't even include any ingredient info. I'd put the dog on Pro Plan Puppy.
Hi, my daughter bought a choc lab pup, 6 or 7 weeks old and the breeder I think feeds one of the cheapest brands called Sprout. I think you can only buy it at Fleet Farm after checking online. What are everyone's thoughts on that brand of food. I am thinking its not good anyway from reading the ingredients.

They don't seem to list the ingredients etc..
I would go with another choice...I also like the Pro Plan puppy.
All mine have been raised on Pro Plan puppy. If you have some of the Sprout you can do a slow transition - substitute some of the new food for the old food, increasing the amount swapped at over time. Chloe’s breeder had weaned her on to Kirkland (Costco’s brand) which isn’t a bad food but at the time we didn’t have a Costco anywhere nearby, so we transitioned her to the Pro-Plan.

I've also never heard of Sprout. My new puppy that will be coming home mid-July is being weaned onto Pro-Plan Large Breed Puppy by his breeder. I will continue using it for awhile, unless the puppy has issues with it. Fromm Gold Large Breed Puppy also has a good reputation.

Sprout ingredient list doesn't look good, IMO.
