    Which ProPlan?

Our girl is currently just over 6 months, and I think it might be time for us to move her off of puppy food. She is currently eating Proplan Focus Puppy Lamb & Rice. I got the small bag for flavor variety, she has been eating the Focus Puppy C & R since she was 12 weeks or so (and the Savor before that and at her breeders').

I think most here transition to the Sport line, but I'm not sure which would be right for us- the 26/16. 28/18 or the 20/30 (I think that's what they are- feel free to correct me ). SHe has great muscle tone and energy now, shiny coat and nice poo (lol!). She does have small white eye boogies most of the time, and they get worse when its windy- not sure if they matter much in regards to food choice, but they are there.

Which ProPlan Sport would the ProPlan feeders recommend?

Pixie isn't a show dog, but I'd still like her to be the best that she can!

    Thanks!

i feed chili the sport 26/16 mainly because he had surgery and isnt that active(house dog right now). my thought is that will help him not get fat, but really I have no idea. Chili has eaten many different brands of food and I cant see a difference honestly...all his lab tests have always surprised the vets saying they looked perfect...I suppose it all depends on how active your dog is...kinda like human athletes need more and dieters need less

My girls have been on Pro Plan Sport (Performance) ALS 30/20 all of their lives (at the insistance of their breeder) and have thrived. Beautiful coats and never had a poop problem. They are less active at almost four so I will probably go to 28/18 soon.

I agree, I'd go to the 30/20 for a 6 month old. There's even a Salmon 30/20 formula now if you wanted to switch up flavor every now and then.

You can do the Select Chicken and Brown rice at 30/17 also. I put my older dogs on this. They don't need the 20% fat but I don't want to give up the higher protein. The 17% protein will still maintain a nice Lab coat.

I recommend that my "puppy people" move to sport 26/16 at 5mo of age.
