    Brooks 10 1/2 Months

My old laptop died last week, and luckily a local computer guy was able to remove the hard drive and luckily I was able to recover all the pics. I had backed up most of them, but it's been a year since I did so. Just happy I didn't loose all the Brooks puppy pics!!!!

Taken this past weekend. It was very cloudy, and I was just playing with the new camera and he's a few I got.

    Come on! Throw it already!

    Got it!!!!

    Hold!

    Mr. Serious!

    Mr. Sleepy!

Brooks is coming along nicely. We've finished force fetch and will be E-collar conditioning in the next week. Obedience training is also going very well. Being so new to competitive dog sports I really have nothing to compare to Brooks. He is so far ahead of any dog I've ever had at this age and it amazes me what he's accomplished and I can only hope I can maximize his potential!!!

    Barry,

BROOKS is looking awesome, a very handsome retriever. Just remember that BROOKS didn't get to be the dog he is on his own, he had ye to help him along the way. T'is truly a team effort Mate and I underline that when any formal K9 games are involved as the investment of training time and money involved becomes a more demanding commitment. All said, both ye and BROOKS are a finely forged team. The bond I have witnessed formed by yeself and BROOKS speaks volumes as to your increasing skills as a trainer, the special dog BROOKS is as a retriever, and the much needed healing he brought ye after ye sudden loss of BRUCE. As an outsider watching ye and BROOKS moving forward I am proud of ye both in how far along ye have progressed. Keep up the great work and enjoy every moment of it. GO TEAM BROOKS!

Brooks is very handsome, look at that sweet expression holding the frisbee. I'm glad your hard work is so rewarding to you both.

Mike thanks for your kind words and I'm very humbled. There are many people, including yourself that have helped and guided me along the way. We would never have gotten this far without a lot of help, and both Brooks and myself still have a lot of learning to do, and I'm really looking forward to this journey!
