    Need some help with name

What a chunk! I suggest going in with a few names and let the dog name himself. There is always one that seems to fit. (I hated my husband's choice of Thor and would have preferred many others on our list, but pretty much from the moment we met him he was a Thor. I'm not going to argue with that).

Ps I like Ernie, Duff, and Chip
Mighty Thor, "So Much Dog", born 1/6/2014
    And baby Barley, born 3/9/2018

I strongly suggest NOT Huck or Buck. We know a man called Huck. It gets misinterpreted, mis-heard. I like all the others but I'd spell the first one Otis. To my mind the extra "t' would make it pronounced to rhyme with not but one "t" rhymes with note. Or Cutie-Pie would work, you could call him Pi.

I think Otis would be a great name for a dog. I wouldn't use Buddy, too common for a dog name.

I like Otis as well. I would suggest waiting until you pick him up. We had a list a mile long for each of our dogs and neither of the names we chose were on the list.

Oh my! What a beautiful puppy... Bless his heart...

My vote goes to "Chip" and "Ditka".

    Oh, what a sweetie!

We home seniors and they join our family with a long established name and we do not change it.

You might want to wait till puppy is home. Sometimes they pick their own name. And, no, Bad Dog, Stop Chewing, Drop It and not options.
