I got Asher in January as a wee baby. Samson was 4 (just turned 5 9/1). I can tell you....IT IS NOTHING BUT BITEY FACE and it drivers me nuts. As I sit here and type this...they are at it. Samson always flips upside down. At times, when I get so engrossed on what I'm doing (like typing this), out of nowhere Samson's legs kick out and my laptop goes flying. Thank goodness I use a very cheap Google laptop. That is their only interaction. No laying beside each other, no snuggling. Just bitey face. Oh, occasionally Samson will pause bitey face to allow Asher to lick his ears! haha I think Samson truly loves Asher's company but has some very strong boundaries . I wouldn't change a thing. Each brings so much joy to my life.
Best of luck on the introduction. I will tell you for the first month, Samson wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. I had to make a special point to give Samson extra love and attention since I was cuddling with baby Asher so much. All is working out here.

Yeah, I can't say mine were ever the best of friends. Chase was 6 when we got Lark. He tolerated her, might even have been a bit scared of her when she first came home because she was just up in his face all the time, biting his neck, hanging on like a leech. We had to make sure Chase wasn't driven crazy by her energy and got some time alone, just by himself, as well as time alone with us. They played but were never snuggly. Once, just once, we found them both sleeping in the same crate but Chase looked at us as if to ask us to please remove the interloper, he was clearly there first!

    Hope all goes well!

This is my world at the moment. Sophie will roll on her back and it's game on. When Sophie's had enough, she gets up and chases Brooks rolling him at will. He still hasn't figured out how she does it. I've gotten to the point I won't let them do it in the house, the second they start I tell them to leave it, if they want to continue, I toss them out to the back yard.

Ruger is quite the little chunker!!!! Love that color too!
