    SOOOO adorable! Wow, so this is what I have to look forward to when I bring my new puppy home in mid July? Holy moly, they grow fast! I've never had a lab from the very beginning before (8 weeks). My two previous labs were rescued at 4 years old and 4-5 months old, respectively. I can't wait!

    As to Barley being smarter than Thor, and you can take this for what it's worth. With Thor, you were learning at the same time he was. All the things you learned while training Thor evolved and were refined as you went along. After 3 plus years of training with Thor, you are now a much more experienced trainer, and Barley is benefiting from it. And that is a good thing!

    So true. Our dogs teach us as much or more than we teach them.
