    Barley: Five Months Old!

He just rocketed past 40 lbs. It feels like time has flown and he's growing way too fast, but at the same time he fits into our little family so well that I feel like he's always been here. He's doing really well in Obedience I considering he's a 5 month old lab with the attention span of a flea. He picks up on stuff instantly, but then gets distracted by leaves or rocks or a shadow. I'm excited to see what he can do as he matures. In the meantime it's just consistency and regular short intervals of training.

But you're all here for the main attraction: puppy pictures! Here are a few from the past week or two. He and Thor are quite the entertaining pair.

I interrupted some kind of doggy game here:

Finally, the look I got last night when I got home. I had missed dinner by an hour. He is really good at making me feel guilty!

Oh, I’m dying from the cuteness. I don’t think anything can beat the adorability of Barley in his kangaroo carrier, but this set provides some serious competition.

Is there anything more pitiful looking than a Lab who's missed his dinner time???????????? I think not from the look on Barley's face!

Phew....40 lbs. of Barley on poor Thor's hips....what a great shot, though.

They look a lot more alike than I'd realized. Handsome boys!

I LOVE the third picture, poor Thor-used as a seat. One hour late, shame on you!!!!! How do you expect a growing boy to be fit if you are late with his food.

Oh wow! How in the world is Barley 5 months old already?? Whoa!

He is really adorable, his facial expressions are hilarious, and you can see right what he is thinking hahaha

The look of betrayal because you were late for his 2nd favorite time of day is classic. (1st favorite time of day is breakfast!)

They look very pleased with themselves in pic 1. Pic 3 is just too much for me not to smile and how could you be late for dinner. He is growing into such a handsome boy

I was just cleaning up the laundry room/dog room and almost threw the kangaroo carrier in the ‘donate’ pile (it was something like $9 on Amazon) but tucked it away instead. I’m sure there will be more puppies in our future. And it’s so adorable and convenient, even if it’s only good for a couple of weeks!
