Oh mercy! Please don't tell me there's a big growth spurt at 9 months!! Lido has been steadily gaining all along, and at 8.5 months, he's 76.5 pounds...and he's not at all fat.
    Thank you!

Well it might be different depending on the dog and its lines. My breeder, who’s been breeding for 50 years, knows her dogs’ growth patterns, so I’m betting on the 9-month growth spurt...which is one month away!!! Yikes!

    You haven’t posted a photo of Lido recently! I can’t believe he’s 76 pounds!!!

Yes, Lido's going to be a big one! However, I was mistaken about his weight. He was 73.6 pounds as of this past Saturday. I transposed the 6 and the 3 in my head when I posted earlier - lol.

Lido's taking after his dad, who is a large lab. Lido's already bigger than his mom - a more normal 63 pounds. Here are a few recent photos of him. The first one was taken in January, right after he turned 8 months (71.4 pounds then). He loves children and puppies! The second photo is of him playing with some 6-7 week old pitt mix rescue puppies at the place I board him around the same time. There were 6 puppies (!) and Lido kept them entertained while he was there, lol. The third and fourth photos were taken last weekend, while we had our granddaughters with us.

Lido is also getting so big! It's amazing how fast they grow....wish they could stay puppies longer!

Love the picture with Lido and the puppies...that's great!

Wow Lido is a big boy! But you’re right - he’s in great shape. Extremely handsome too! Are his digestion issues resolved?

Thanks for asking. They're semi-resolved. I found a grain inclusive kibble that he does pretty well on, but it was changed over to grain free recently - boo! I went out and bought every bag of grain inclusive I could that was still in stores in our area - 7 fifteen bags total, lol. I also have Lido on a probiotic. When the puppy food I have runs out, then I have to find another one that's similar. I'm leaning towards Simply Nourish Large Breed Puppy. It's corn, soy, wheat, and pea free, but still grain inclusive.

I hope you are planning to turn all of you wonderful pictures of Diggity and Lido in to one of those books you can publish online. They are terrific.
