    Puppy antics

I guess he’s not quite ready to be left out of the crate for grocery runs! I didn’t want to read that magazine anyway. Humf!

At least he looked somewhat guilty when he was caught.

Brooks will still shred the crap out of any kinda of paper or plastic he gets a hold of. Of course isn't the one who steals it off the table/counters, Sophie does that for him. They are quite the team!

Amber is the first dog I've had that likes to run with the toilet paper! I've seen it on videos but now I can say I've seen it in real life!

Oh dear! Our last Lab did not calm down until he was about 4 years old!

I'm trying to remember when we could trust him out of the crate? But the time will come...you just kind of know.

What was scary for us was, one day when he was left out, he managed to jump up and turned on one of the gas burners on the stove. When we came home, the house smelled strong of gas!

    Not good!

So what we did was...pulled off the gas knobs on the stove when we went out.. you never know what they are going to get into.

Remember; a crate keeps your puppy safe.

When I had a new gas stove installed a few years ago, the left knob was in a spot where if you leaned up to put something in the cupboard above and to the left of the stove, you could accidentally lean into the knob and turn it on. It happened a few times, so I put these on all the knobs:

Safety 1st Stove Knob Covers Amazon.com : Safety 1st Stove Knob Covers : Baby

I put them on all of them even though it was really only the left one that was an issue because it looked funny with just one on. With Diggity, I am glad I have them on!!
