    Thor week by week

I’ve been taking a photo of Thor every week next to the same statute to track his growth. He’s growing so fast!

I'm so impressed you got him to sit! My early statue photos were of the "well, at least she's somewhat near the statue" variety.

Prior to picking him up I watched the puppy culture videos. They introduce a concept they call “manding” but it basically conditions them to sit automatically whenever they want something instead of jumping. I was really impressed that he caught on to the concept so quickly. Too impressed actually, it was like he already knew to do that.

We talked to the breeder last week and it turns out they had been having them do that since they were tiny puppies which was awesome. We didn’t actually teach him the word “sit” until last week, he just offers it as a default behavior and has never jumped on us. He cries and barks at us sometimes but then his little brain thinks it through and he just sits down.
