Day 2 Bailey with her brother and Sister.

the kids were sitting down waiting for her to come out, and she went straight to the kiddos. Mommy knows where she stands! lol-ianinabaileyd2-jpg
-ianbaileyd2-jpg Bailey has definitely grown to like big brother Ian.
-inaianbaileyd2-jpgAlready so accepting of their crowding her space.
-inabaileyd2-jpgInaMae finally got to get in some more cuddle time with Bailey.

It was most difficult to leave without her again today. By this time next week she will be HOME with us. I rearranged the entire livingroom after realizing where I was going to put her crate was right in the line of the motion detector for our home security system. LOL That's not a very bright Idea, so I moved everything around so she can be put in a place that's not going to alert the police all the time. She whined and cried again when we left today without her. Katy, her most favorite sancuary gal, says that this is GOOD and important for her to learn and will help her remember in the future, that even when we leave her home alone, we will indeed come back. I sure hope that she's right! The kids weren't upset leaving today, but I was in tears leaving her there!

Hang in there. My husband did the same thing with Lilly. He went every day after we decided to adopt her until we brought her home. And Lilly would cry when he left. Bailey is now associating you with a good life. I know it's hard but kudos to you for going to see her so often. She now has a touchstone. She knows your scent, taste and touch. They don't forget. They absorb and learn.

She'll be hone with you before you know it. Sounds like you have everything ready for her. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. That really helps a lot. We're going to go see her again today, and probably not again until Monday unfortunately. But We will survive! lol

Guess she's already a member of the family and she knows it. I would probably be crying, leaving this awesome, adorable girl even if I knew it was just a matter of time and she'd be home with me for good
