    Bruce update

Things have been going well getting Bruce settled in. He's a pretty laid back pup, I would say the complete opposite of Sophie as a pup. She was a spawn of satan puppy, and thankfully Bruce is much more biddable. He had some issue with being crated the first couple days, but it's getting better. Sophie has a bladder the size of a beach ball, Bruce the size of a mustard seed. The first two nights he wee'd in the crate, and has gotten me up at 1am, and 4 am each morning so far. Last night he was dry in the crate.

I'm trying to get his feeding schedule adjusted as we've have a couple cases of bile vomit. So I've put him back on 4 feeds a day. I'm sure the fasting for over 15 hours on his trip over the pond messed with his schedule.

I don't think Sophie quite knows what to make of him. She's a bit of a brute, and does play hard with other dogs. This moring out in the yard she charged at Bruce a full speed, I think expecting him to run like her other buddies do. He saw her coming and just submitted, and she slammed on the brakes and almost trampled him. I don't think she's figured out why he doesn't run, and he falls down a lot!

I had him to the Vets on Thursday, but in the rush I forgot to grab the poo sample and take it with me, so I took it in Friday. One of the girls behind the counter gave me this pitiful look and said, "I can't beleive I missed Bruce yesterday! Everyone is talking about him and I didn't get hold him!" To say that the staff at my vets love my dogs would be a gross understatement!!

All in all, I think he's a happy little guy with a great personality, and I'm looking forward to the journey!!

    Bitey face with big Sis!!!

    Snoozing!
