Here is little Beau after my first 2 weeks of having him.
Do their ears tend to get bat-like at all during puppy stages? They have seemed to start perking up a bit and not sitting flat.

His bat ears as of the past couple of days
Labs grow in spurts, sometimes leaving them not really looking like the lab they will turn into. One day you look at them and their legs are way too long and the body way too short. Next day the ears catch up to the legs. You are looking at a tiny head with almost Bassett Hound ears. They all catch up in the end though. One of my favorites is when the legs start to sprout and they fall a lot.

He is so stinkin cute!!! They do grow in spurts. Ears, legs, body... It all evens out at about 10 to 12 months. They are very funny when their legs start getting long. They trip and stumble, it' so cute.
