Labrador puppies are born with their ears folded down and their ears stay down. I don't see lab in the puppy in the picture. Looks like a shepherd mix to me. She is still very cute but I don't think she's 100% labrador.

I've seen ears go a bit wonky during teething, but my guess is that this pup is NOT a purebred lab.

She looks more shepherd to me. None the less, she is adorable!

That's definitely not a Labrador. Ears, face, and body from what I can see is not Labrador. Probably a shepherd mix like everyone is saying

Sure, there are pure black German Shepards. Just look at this google search black german shepherd - Google Search

That's definitely not a pure Labrador though sorry to say, but she is definitely a cute dog and I am sure she will be just as loving to you forever and welcome to the forums.

Actually a search on Purebread German Sheperd puppies gets you a lot of results similar to your pup.

Your pup may actually be pure German Sheperd, but I am guessing a mix of some sort. Did you meet the parents of the pup? They should have been pure Labradors and they would not have had ears sticking up.
