    They grow up so fast...

Tickle is about 18 weeks now. She still looks small compared to the big dogs, but I can tell in photos that she's growing up fast! Wrigley too, but she still seems really small to me...

What great photos of them both! They are growing so fast! Do you have any of Wrigley and/or Tickle standing still (?is that possible?) beside one of the big guys and beside each other?

I probably do, but nothing GOOD. I'll have to look later when I am home!

Have you noticed any differences in how they learn new things or if they require different training techniques?

Griffs are more sensitive and don't do well with heavy handed corrections. Wrigley can be stopped in her tracks with a mean "Don't be a bad girl" and a light swat on the butt or head.

Tickle's nickname is Honey Badger, she doesn't give a "$hit". You can call her name until you are blue in the face. Do it with cookies, and you are 100% successful. Other than normal puppy shenanigans like stealing shoes, food scoopers and remote controls, Tickle is pretty laid back and perfect.

I haven't worried too much about any training other than learning to be a good house dog. Getting them to potty outside, not steal in appropriate items, eating from their own food bowls.

Meal times are interesting. Tickle is fed in a locked cage because she is a Hoover and would eat everything in sight. I have to sit with Wrigley when she eats to remind her to go back to her bowl and finish, which she rarely does.

There should be a photo of Wrigley in the dictionary next to the word flibbertigibbet.

Are Griffs generally not food motivated?

I keep hearing that other Griff's just love food. Wrigley doesn't. She loves the high value items, but dry cookies aren't that appealing. Kibble without canned isn't that appealing. I can't consistently get a cup and a half in her each meal. She'll do dances for little Zukes though.
